East African Tourist Visa Requirements by Country …
Uganda “the Pearl of Africa”
Ugandan Entry Visas can be obtained on arrival at any Entry Point. We do recommend that you make it clear to the immigration personnel attending to you that you would like an East African Tourist Visa – US$100. Payment for your visa can be made on arrival and is by Cash. Welcome to Uganda – the pearl of Africa …
Rwanda “the Country of a thousand Hills”
Rwanda other than Uganda formally requires online visa applications via the Rwanda Immigration website. Similarly to Uganda, make it very clear while applying that you want the East African Tourist Visa instead of Rwandan visa. US, UK, Canadians, those from Singapore and other countries used to enter without getting a visa, now there is a fee for them at the entry point(s) of US$30. This still leaves the East African Tourist Visa as your best travel visa whilst visiting Uganda, Rwanda & Kenya – Saves you money and the repeat hassle at the respective border crossings.
Kenya “Magical Kenya”
Kenya is soon introducing online Visa Application, we will be updating you the moment this kicks off. As of now you can apply for a VISA from any of the Kenyan Embassies in your country of origin. We do recommend that you inform the issuing officer that you are paying for an East African Visa.
Tanzania “Land of the Kilimanjaro”
Tanzania recently accepted the East African Visa and can also be attained at any of their entry points. We do recommend that you inform the issuing officer that you are paying for an East African Visa.
