7 nights 8 days Selous Game Reserve, Mikumi and Ruaha National Parks

Day 1: Pick up from Hotel/airport and depart for Selous Game Reserve. This will be a 5 – 6 hours drive depending on the conditions of the road. Your cook who will be accompanying will provide with lunch boxes.

Arrival time will be late afternoon. Thereafter depart for the late afternoon boat safari and overnight at Campsite/Lodge board.

Day 2: Accompanied by an armed ranger, we start the day with a walking safari followed by afternoon game drive. The walking safari starts as early as 06.30, bringing you close to some of the smallest animals and plants that you would not see on a vehicle game drive. The crisp fresh African air mixed with the wild smell of the animals evokes your smell sense to the intoxication unique bush smell of Africa. There after with packed lunch, you will go for a full day safaris Overnight at Campsite/Lodge board.

Day 3: Full day game drive and overnight at Camping/Sable Mountain Lodge, full board.

Selous Game Reserve covering 50,000sq km, this is the largest game reserve in the Africa. The reserve supports an enormous number of elephants, buffalos and wildebeests. Other rare species include the African Hunting dog. The park provides home for some of the last remaining black rhinos.

Day 4: This will be along drive of 8 hours through some of the most scenic parts of Southern Tanzania. Villages and the Uluguru Mountains dot along the way. You will make a short lunch break by the road side arriving at the Camp by late afternoon. Your late afternoon game drive in Selous begins as you cross form the northern gate to the eastern game.   Packed lunched en-route will be provided. Overnight at Guest House/Lodge, full board.

Day 5: Morning game drive and thereafter depart for Ruaha National park. The drive to Ruaha is a truly fascinating one which gives you the real feel of the African countryside. The journey will see you pass sisal plantations, local villages before starting to climb the Great Rift Escarpment passing Iringa Town and finally arriving to your Lodge. Arrival time will be late and overnight at Lodge /Banda, full board 

Day 6: Full day game drive in Ruaha. Your guide will guide you through the park in such of the elusive wild dogs and herds of elephants and buffaloes. After picnic lunch, continue with late afternoon/evening game drive before departing for the lodge. This is the time that predators begin for their hunt for their evening meal, dinner and over night at Lodge/Banda, full board.

Day 7: Early morning walking safari followed by full day game drive and overnight at Lodge/Banda, full board.

RUAHA NATIONAL PARK, Tanzania's biggest park and host to a number of animals which rare or absent in the North. The rare animals include the African Wild dog, roan and sable antelope and the greater kudu. The Great Ruaha River, which provides life to the park, flows through the eastern side of the park and is home to hippos, crocodiles and a variety of water birds. 

Day 8: Depart after breakfast for Dar es Salaam with packed lunch en-route or take you flight directly to Zanzibar.
