Kagulu hill, Busoga cultural heritage.
You will have an early breakfast; then head out on a dirt road in the countryside, this is a cultural trip and it’s raw as Africa is. Drive past countrymen, women and children about their normal farm chores, with your camera in hand snapping away at the beautiful landscapes. Our destination is Kagulu hill, arriving early morning, you will hike a legendary rock known as the birthplace of the Busoga kingdom. Drive back to the hotel for lunch, freshen up and drive to Sipi falls for another amazing cultural encounter. The Sipi River flows over the foothills of Mount Elgon, forming a spectacular series of waterfalls (some nearly 100m high), surrounded by village walking trails and lush green coffee-producing hills. You will stay in a simple, but nice self-contained cottage. From the resort, you have beautiful views over the valley and one of the waterfalls.
